Swansea City will be looking to return to winning ways this weekend when they travel to Greater Manchester to take on Bolton Wanderers.
Graham Potter’s men fell to a 2-1 away against Rotherham United last time out, which was a disappointing result after a positive performance.
But it has been a positive week for the Swans off the field with the announcements of Jay Fulton
and Matt Grimes signing new contracts at the Liberty; Fulton signing on until 2021 and
Grimes signing the dotted line to stay until 2022.
While Swans boss Potter also confirmed in his pre-match press conference that Wilfried Bony could be set to return to the side following his lengthy injury.
Swansea’s last victory away from home came during the dramatic 2-1 victory against Millwall in September, and Potter’s side will be hoping to put an end to their poor away form.
After finishing one place above the relation last season, it has been another tough start to the campaign for the Trotters, who currently sit 20th in the table.
Ivory Coast striker Bony is available for potential selection after being side-lined since February.
While Jefferson Montero, Tom Carroll and George Byers are all also available after fitness issues.
But defender Kyle Naughton remains doubtful with an ankle injury.
The hosts are hopeful that Sammy Ameobi will be able to make a return after
damaging his ankle ligament against QPR in September.
Gary O’Neil and Stephen Ireland could also feature, though the pair will both be assessed ahead of the clash.
