As Cardiff City eagerly await the release of their fixtures, here is everything you need to know ahead of the 2018/19 Premier League campaign.

The Bluebirds faithful will have all eyes on the fixture release next month as they find out their schedule in their first season back in the Premier League.

Cardiff and Wolves will be joined by either Fulham or Aston Villa as the two clubs go head-to-head at Wembley for a place in the top flight.

Malky Mackay’s men fell to a 2-0 defeat against West Ham on the opening day of their last Premier League campaign – but Warnock will be hoping history doesn’t repeat itself this time around.

When does the transfer window open and close?

The window will open on Thursday, 17 May.

Premier League clubs opted for the window to close earlier this year, which means it will slam shut on Thursday, 9 August at 5pm.

This was done to stop disruption between each club with players leaving once the season has commenced.
